Born in New York and raised in Moultrie, Georgia, after spending over a decade in Atlanta, Makita Phillips has cultivated a diverse and impactful career. Her professional journey includes roles as a model, actor, celebrity hairstylist, financial educator, minister, mobile home advisor, tax preparer, administrative / PA and life coach. Each of these experiences has shaped her into a well-rounded professional with a passion for empowering others.

In 2007, Makita completed her CNA class but missed the state board exam deadline by one day. Faced with the challenge of retaking the class, she chose to work as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) instead, dedicating 17 years to providing compassionate, hands-on care. During this time, she honed her skills and deepened her passion for improving the lives of those she served.

In 2024, Makita decided to advance her career in the medical field by earning her CNA license. This milestone reflects her resilience, dedication, and commitment to making a meaningful impact in healthcare. As a certified CNA, she now combines her extensive experience and multifaceted background to promote healthy lifestyles and provide exceptional care to patients, clients, and residents.
